Abstract:
The article addresses the issue of cognitive interactions of language and perception. The meanings of linguistic expressions are essentially dependent on the way the observer (subsequently, the speaker) perceives fragments of the environment. An attempt is made to investigate different interpretations of this cognitive figure. The model of the situation of observation is offered, and a variety of its actual realizations through the paradigm of the verbs of perception is studied.
