Abstract:
The article studies the perspectives of conceptual analysis in linguistic cultural studies from the standpoint of cognitive approach. The article discusses the historical aspect of conceptual analysis in linguistic cultural studies and also such problems as basic characteristics of linguistic cultural concepts, their main types and opportunities to explicate their contents. The analysis of the English concept 'free-dom' is given as an example.
