Abstract:
In the paper structure of semantic field for the verbs like «to try» in Russian is investigated.
Different methodologies are compared, including the traditional methodology, corpora analysis,
psychosemantics experiments and diverse mathematical methods of data processing. A more precise description of synonymous sets in the field is obtained.
