Abstract:
The article reviews the subject and the problems of a new direction in the science of terms and systems of terms, which has appeared due to the approval of the cognitive-communicative paradigm of the scientific knowledge. The main theoretical theses and concepts of the cognitive-historical science of terminology are stated, methods of investigation are enumerated, and perspective directions of scientific research are outlined.
