Abstract:
The process of identification as an indispensable process of an individual's activity prior to his further actions is in its nature an initial form of exploring the world, for example in case of a contact with the environment in coming across an unfamiliar word. Peculiarities of word identification are be-ing formulated on the basis of analysis of a wide range of published experimental researches. Dynamic, spontaneous, continuous character of identification enables us to view this process in terms of synerget-ics, namely as interaction of energy streams, coming from the person as a subject of cognitive processes, and the word as an environmental stimulus, its associative potential.
