MODAL COMPONENT OF STUDENTS’ SPEECH: RESEARCH OF DEVELOPMENT LEVELS

Abstract: 
The paper touches upon the problem of studies in modal component of students' speech. The paper theme refers to the sphere of cognitive linguistics and methodology. The first part of the paper regards the problems of modal component of personal language ability. The peculiarities of functioning modality in consciousness are revealed. The second part of the paper is practical. To illustrate the me-thod in use, the methodology of modal component development of students' speech and results of the studies are described.
