Abstract:
The paper attempts to see the ways to employ the notion of mental scene in the conceptual analysis of language, as it is understood to be the structure of knowledge, reflecting the degree and extent of the speaker's construal (conceptualizing) the referent scene. Mental scene appears to be a stage in the cognitive-informational processes that underlie semiotic 'processing' by the subjects during communi-cation and aims at inserting the mental representation of the world into various contexts of human ver-bal communication
