NOMINATIVE STRATEGIES AS A REFLECTION OF CULTURALLY SPECIFIC SPATIAL COGNITION

Abstract: 
The paper discusses conceptualization of space in the Spanish culture and its description in the Spanish language, arguing that the notion of vertical axis plays an important role in the classification and categorization of spatial information.
