Abstract:
The paper studies the conceptual structure of English Christian place-names with the help of a cognitive-matrix analysis. This type of analysis implies a step-by-step examination of a cognitive-matrix as a unit of multi-aspectual cognition and its components as a system of connected cognitive contexts.
