Abstract:
To research feast as one of the ritualized forms of culture is important within a linguo-cultural approach to language studies. The article discusses specificity of lexico-semantic representation of the script «Christmas» in German. Historical, cultural and social factors of word meaning formation were taken into account for a thorough analysis.
