Abstract:
The paper examines some aspects of linguistic representation of the concept «colour» in advertis-ing discourse – in the part of it that reflects the native speakers' ideas about «fashion» phenomenon. The basic cognitive-linguistic mechanisms of colour denoting are identified, correlation of the traditional, conventional and the particular, innovational in colour markers conceptualization is revealed.
