Abstract:
The article deals with the problems of the activity translation and application of the cognitive-discourse paradigm to the research of translation and teaching a skill of translation. There are suggested ways of developing knowledge of notions, images and values of culture as elements of the structure of the concept: teaching an ability of generalization and acquisition of notions, knowledge of images of the world, of people, teaching knowledge of culture through a linguistic and cultural approach to translation and language learning.
