The author gives charac-teristics of the ICM (the metaphorical models «elements», «illness», «animal», «rivalry», the proposi-tional models «competition», «distribution», «contract»), the units of a genetic sublevel, the conceptual figures, the reminiscences. The structures providing integrity of a concept in conditions of heterogeneity of its components come to light. The research is executed on a material of the Russian literature of 18-21 centuries and this fact has allowed to draw conclusions about diachronic changes of the concept 'jealousy' and of their reasons.
