Abstract:
The status in the cognitive paradigm of evolutionary linguistics dealing with the language acquisition by humans is discussed, as well as its goals and perspectives. It is stressed that evolutionary linguistic research is inseparable from investigations in communicative forms inherent to all livingsystems.
