Abstract:
The article is a linguistic interpretation of the category «observer» in H. Maturana's biocultural conception of epistemology and philosophy of language various contextual senses of the notion «obser-ver» are determined. A basic characteristic of the observer appertaining to his epistemological and on-tological status is given.
