Abstract:
The paper presents research into the cognitive processing underlying some poorly activated
lexicon of the Buryat language for a functional priority is given to their Russian equivalents. The
author has worked out a classification of types of the like lexemes and revealed a set of factors which produce a weakening effect on their use.
