THE CONCEPT OF HUMAN CHARACTER AND ITS CONSTITUENTS

Abstract: 
The given article is devoted to the issue, topical for cognitology - that of the description of the concept CHARACTER from the point of its interdependence on different concept spheres. This concept is studied in the concept spheres of linguistics, psychology, sociology, ethics and philosophy. The material for the decription of the concept CHARACTER was provided with the data of the Functional – cognitive dictionary of Russian under T.A. Kildibekova. The article presents the classification of character orien-tations according to E. Fromm, which is supplemented with the lexical material from the Functional-cognitive dictionary.
