Abstract
The given article touches on the question of peculiarities of structure, formation and functioning of the auxiliary verbs avun «to do» (transitive) and khun «to be», «to become» (intransitive), which have tertiary nature from the point of view of their grammatical function: modal, auxiliary and
notional.
