CONCEPTUALIZATION OF A NEGATION FUNCTION AS A BASIS FOR THE CATEGORY FORMATION

Abstract: 
The article focuses on the specific features of an interpreting function of language as a conceptual basis for modus categories formation as well as on the distinctive characteristics and functional potential of these categories determined by the above-mentioned function. The structure and content of the concept NEGATION and of the category it shapes are also analyzed. It is argued that negation in speech represents a conceptual structure of categorical-matrix format.
