SOME FEATURES OF A COGNITIVE-DISCURSIVE RESEARCH OF A SCRIPT IN A POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract: 
The present article is devoted to a cognitive analysis of the script «gratitude» in the political dis-course which is based on the president of the USA Barack Obama's lecture on receiving the Nobel Prize. According to the results of the analysis, the script can be subdivided into two macroframes, defining the situation of gratitude. Detailed analysis of the lecture covers the perception of gratitude in president's mental space in regard to the received prize and general acknowledgment of his activity on the world stage.
