Abstract:
This article reveals peculiarities of the construction of the blend «Baba-Yaga» in Russian fairy tales on the basis of the theory of conceptual integration by G. Fauconnier and M. Turner. Studying the ancient Slavs' culture and traditions allowed to give a view into the input spaces of the blend «Baba-Yaga» and offer the pattern of conceptual integration for it highlighting the distinctive features of its types.
