Abstract: 
Both the scientific concept GEOLOGIC TIME (ГЕОЛОГИЧЕСКОЕ ВРЕМЯ) and its term sys-tem are the results of developing scientific (geologic) views. By the relevant topologic image scheme we understand a mental framework that models the scientific concept and its term system The paper dis-cusses different image scheme structures of the universal-cultural and scientific concepts of time.
