Abstract:
The author claims that not only in the past (Platon, Descartes), but also today the idea of congenital cognitive structures, which predetermines the opportunity of human world knowledge, finds its supporters (K. Lorents, N. Chomsky, S. Pinker). The author supports the idea that phylogenetic acquisitions are necessary for the ontogenetic development, especially in the sphere of human cognitive formations, such as the use of language. Such approach can be efficient in the interpretation of word-formation processes.
Keywords: a priori cognitive structures, ontogenesis, phylogenesis, word-formation.
