ON THE PROBLEM OF IDENTIFYING THE PHRASEOLOGICAL CONCEPT

Abstract: 
The article deals – on the basis of complex lingvo-cognitive and culturological paradigm – with the problem of identifying the phraseological concept as a key word of culture which can be studied on the merging point of different but adjacent branches of knowledge (lingvo-culturology, cognitive linguistics, linguo-cognitive conceptology). This paradigm allows to characterise the concept as a discrete mental unit having a complex structure the components of which give a representation of the content of a concept, its significance, of an image and cultural and mental content of a concept. Concept is a quantum of normative-assessment significance, a way of verbalizing it is a unit of a secondary nomi-nation.
