Abstract:
The paper deals with the propositional subframe «resistance» of the frame «social conflict» ob-jectified in the English language. The frame is regarded as a cognitive model representing a stereotypi-cal situation. The main attention is focused on the structure of the subframe and peculiarities of its rep-resentation by the verbs of social relations.
