Abstract:
The article substantiates reasonability of considering cognitive stylistics one of modern trends of stylistics, which reflects its development in accordance with a new cognitive-discursive paradigm in lin-guistics. A connection and continuity with these trends and communicative stylistics of a text are estab-lished.
