ON AUTHOR’S INTENTIONALITY IN THE LANGUAGE OF PLAYS (DIRECTOR’S PIECE)

Abstract: 
The article is devoted to the problem of linguistic and cognitive peculiarities of the category of author's intentionality in drama. Stage directions of P. Shaffer's "total" theatre are analysed to show the explicit means of verbalization of the author's intention.
