PRECEDENT PHENOMENA AS THE REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPTS IN THE RUSSIAN WORLD VIEW

Abstract: 
In this article precedent phenomena are considered representatives of the specific national con-cepts of Russian linguistic world view. The methods of the symmetric representation of precedents are also examined. The author indicates that the precedent phenomena as language units have the following characteristics: secondary representation, descriptiveness, existence in the form of simple and complex signs, the ability to objectify nationally important concepts, symmetry and asymmetry of representation and the presence of cognitive features of sense and evaluation.
