THE SEMIOTIC SYSTEM OF MUSIC IN CONSTRUCTING THE PHRASEOLOGICAL MEANING (a linguoculturological approach)

Abstract: 
The aim of the paper is to show how a particular semiotic system of culture, i.e. music, influences the construction of phraseological meaning. The paper dwells on the problem of the inter-semiotic transposition as well as the problem of what culture and phraseological meaning are. A special attention is paid to the notion of the phraseological image which is regarded as a result of the inter-semiotic transposition. The paper proves the assumption that а phraseological image is a complex conceptual construction which is in fact a source of the information about the specifics of the cultural worldview.
