TO THE PROBLEM OF THE DYNAMICS OF THE CONCEPTS ORDNUNG AND SICHERHEIT IN GERMAN

Abstract:  The objects of study in the article are substantial changes in two key concepts of contemporary German linguistic culture. As a research topic the author has chosen such important concepts as ORDNUNG and SICHERHEIT. The author relies on the opinions of respected linguists regarding the variability of a concept depending on the social situation, as well as on the axiom of the reflectivity function of language. The purpose of the research is to reveal the facts of language and speech, which show some of the content changes of the studied concepts. The main research methods are: method of conceptual analysis, including the method of analysis of dictionary definitions, method of contextual analysis. Basing her observations on the analysis of semantics and functional features of the nominations, which correlate with the concepts ORDNUNG and SICHERHEIT, the author reveals the new elements of the content of the concepts, reflecting social and cultural transformations in German society: negligence in observing the established norms and rules, reprehensible attitude towards minor offenses and, as a consequence, the lack of guaranteed security in German society. A study of the dynamic part of the National-specific concepts contributes to a deeper under-standing of language and culture.
