Abstract:  The article points to the analysis of thematically conditioned idiostyle dynamics in media texts of public language personality/identity. The research is done on the material of media discourse of one person – A.S. Konchalovskiy. The author studies constant and variable signs of the language personali-ty’s idiostyle, conditioned by different topics of the articles, in newspaper and journalistic texts of the same genre (analytical articles of 2007–2013, published in “Argumenty I fakty”, “Argumenty nedeli”, “Komsomol’skaya pravda”, “Rossiyskaya gazeta”). The research allowed to refer to constant signs of idiostyle of the examined language personality such features as the use of impressive headings that appeal to the readers’ interest; epigraphs and quo-tations that define prospective text development; expressed actualization of the personality’s principle, emotionality and an open social assessment; metaphoric style of narration; question-and-answer description; references to authorities and digital information for a theses argument; use of precedent texts, own aphorisms and maxims; moderate use of substandard vocabulary. Variable signs of the examined language personality’s idiostyle conditioned by media texts’ topics are the following: use of thematically conditioned vocabulary and aphorisms; frequent quoting experts in the appropriate realm of knowledge and statements of public figures according to the articles’ topics; appeal to different types of precedent texts with a glance to a topic (idioms, proverbs and sayings); use of euphemisms, historical excursus and analogies in political and historical texts. Media texts about culture and relationship in the Russian society are characterized by the following: great frequency of access to mass addressee, intensification of dialogue description, simplicity, relaxed manner of speaking, linguo-centrism, casuistry. The derived results are of interest for elaborating a cooperation problem of language identity and media environment in regulative and identifying aspects.
