WAYS OF EXPRESSING IMPERSONALITY IN THE SPANISH LANGUAGE

Abstract:  The article examines the ways of the expressing impersonality in the Spanish language. The main feature of the Spanish language is the lack of special construction for the expression of impersonality. In turn, the Spanish language is rich in expressions of impersonality. This topic is actual and it involves a number of important grammatical issues: activity and passivity in the meaning of the verb, the pronominal form of the verb, the concept of indefinite personal and impersonal constructions, the role of the pronoun uno, semantic features of the use of the infinitive and gerund in constructions with the impersonal value. The article summarizes the most common ways of transmitting impersonal values in the Spanish language.
