EVALUATIVE CATEGORIZATION OF MORAL ACTIONS, CONCEPTS BASED ON THE EVALUATIVE PREDICATES “GOOD – BAD”

Abstract:  The subject matter of this article is evaluative categorization of moral actions, concepts based on the evaluation of predicates. Theme: “Evaluative categorization of moral actions, concepts based on the evaluation of the predicates “good – bad”. Objective: to consider the evaluative categorization of moral actions, concepts. Research methods: the cognitive analysis, comparative method, procedure of cognitive assessment, method of observation. In the process the authors obtained the scientific results: they described the specific evaluative categorization of moral concepts; tested the possibility of using the qualitative categories of “good – bad” in the moral evaluation of human actions, expression of axiological judgments about him/her; realized the cognitive evaluation procedure for moral actions based on the evaluation of the predicates of “good”, “bad”; determined and used the assessment strategies of human behavior; found out the cognitive classifying and differentiating assessment; clarified and described the categories “good”, “bad”. 
Conclusions: the evaluative categorization of moral actions, concepts is characterized as secondary, with the specifics of moral concepts,the deeds are not evaluated on the model of categorization in the natural sciences, but on the basis of the evaluation of predicates – an individual or collective assessment based on a logical assessment. When evaluating the categorization of moral action, concepts there should be realized a procedure of cognitive assessment, identifiedthe cognitive classifiers of evaluative predicates, determined the strategies of axiological reasoning and application of certain cognitive characteristics to the act, the concept, established criteria for the categories of “good”, “bad”;there should be described a group of words that relate to these categories.
