Abstract:  In cognitive linguistics the linguistic culture and cognitive approaches are considered as one of the most relevant approaches of research. The study of nationally important elements and values in different linguistic cultures allows identifying main concepts; todescribe the linguistic view of people of the world. Accordingly, the authors attach importance and relevance to the present work conducted. The article contains the classification and the analysis of the results of associative experiment, made within student environment of Tajikistan (Khujand State University, named after Ghafurov, Kulyab State University, The State University of Kurgan tube, the University of Central Asia), on the word – incentive “fate”, with the purpose of identifying the nationally important elements of the macro concept FATE in Tajik and Pamirian linguistic culture. The novelty of the work is describing and identifying nationally important elements of the macro concept FATE in different regions of Tajikistan, the research being based on survey material. We have selected free (non-directional) association experiment for identifying the components of the concept FATE as a method of survey. The reason for selection of the method lies with the fact that this type of experiment allows to get closer to the real mode of thinking. Comparative analysis of the collected data will allow to determine the linguistic, religious-philosophical and social aspects of the macro concept FATE in Tajik and Pamir linguistic cultures. The achieved results can be used both for research purposes and also for lecturing on “Cognitive Linguistics” and “Еthnolinguistic”.

Keywords:  free association experiment, tolerance, word-incentive fate, macroconcept FATE, the linguistic aspect (dimension), social aspect, religious and philosophic aspect.
