ANALYSIS OF SPEECH BEHAVIOR OF THE LANGUAGE INDIVIDUAL ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE CODE SWITCHING

Abstract:  The article contains the results of analysing a speech behavior of the linguistic individual.
The main goal is to describe the features of the speech behavior of the German Mennon-ite linguistic individual by the example of code switching.
The key method of the research was the combination of fixing an unrestricted speech flow with various polling options. In the analysis of the material, the authors used such approaches of the scientific description method as comparison, interpretation, systematization, the method of contextual analysis, comparative-compare method and others. The approach is based on the description of the speech behavior of the linguistic individual on the example of code switching.
The authors argue that the results of speech behavior and code switching depend on the linguistic and extralinguistic factors such as: age, gender, marriage, profession, confessional identity, and others. In this study, the confessional belonging of the informant is the leading factor that determines both the topic and the subject matter of the content that, in their turn, affect the speech behavior of the linguistic individual and facilitate the code switching.
