Abstract:
The paper deals with the general approaches to some problems in humanities shared by cognitive lin-guistics and gender studies. It accentuates such principles of cognitive linguistics and linguistic genderology as experientialism and feminist empiricism and opposes approaches in traditional philosophy. A new notion of gender interpretant is introduced, which may prove to be instrumental in the study of social cognition.
