THE TRANSLATION OF TERMS WITH REGARD TO THEIR COGNITIVE PECULIARITIES

Abstract: 
The article is devoted to investigation of the creation of adequate translation. The object of re-search was the system of terms in cognitive aspect of comprehension of the results of translator's activi-ty. The analysis of hydrotechnical terms translation from English into Russian allowed the author to reveal (on the base of their structural and semantic peculiarities) the perception mechanisms specificity of objects by representatives of different language cultures.
