INTERPRETATION OF REALITY IN A CREOLIZED MEDIA TEXT AS A MANIFESTATION OF THE CULTURAL IDENTITY OF NATIVE SPEAKERS WITHIN A CULTURE

Abstract:  The reasoning focuses on understanding the results of the reception of one relevant creolized text circulating in modern German-speaking social networks and generated as a reaction of native speakers of the language and members of culture to the current state of affairs. The analysis centers, on the one hand, on reflections on the degree of knowledge significance shared by all members of culture, and, on the other hand, the influence of the characteristics of a single subject’s of personal identity on the result of receiving an axiologically loaded text.
A comprehensive multidimensional macrotextual analysis allows us to describe the ratio of verbal and non-verbal means of objectification of information not only about individual subjects whose activi-ties are evaluated in the text both explicitly and implicitly, but also about the “Government” as a collec-tive subject. We also described the methods of activation and co-activation of information about the val-ues included in the worldview. We interpreted the totality of such knowledge as a cognitive background against which information about each of the four persons depicted photographically in the creolized text is profiled. We studied the correlation of information objectified by means of cultural codes, on the one hand, and information which is activated and co-activated in the process of text reception and without which it is impossible to comprehend the text as a whole, on the other hand. We also revealed the mecha-nisms of verbalizing information, the contribution of which to the coherence of the creolized text turns out to be the most significant.
The analysis helps to ascertain conceptual metaphors with the help of which recipients are able to adequately comprehend the content of the creolized text and extract the message of the text. We also ana-lyzed the reasons for the possibility of multiple interpretations of the content of the described text in the same cultural space by subjects with the same collective identity. The results of the macrotextual analysis using well-known generally accepted linguistic techniques are compared with the data of a pilot survey of native speakers of the language within their culture.
