THE «ARTIFACTS» AS A SUBSPHERE AND SOURCE OF CONCEPTUALIZATION OF MAN’S INNER WORLD (DIACHRONIC ASPECT)

Abstract: 
This article is devoted to the analysis of artifact metaphors which are used in representation of inner world in diachronic aspect of the Russian language. The subsphere of artifact metaphor is characterized as dynamic and changeable. The types of artifact metaphor are described in the material of old-Russian texts, and classic texts, and modern texts. The authors analyze the history of artifact me-taphors and some reasons of its appearance and disappearance in the Russian language.
