Abstract:
This article deals with the results of psycholinguistic experiment concerning medical metaphor and medical metaphor-term functioning in the individual lexicon. Research was carried out in different kinds of discourse, namely: in political, naive and medical, thus metaphor is considered to be property of a person. Psycholinguistic approach gives the basis to speak about dynamism of metaphor in the in-dividual's lexicon.
