TO THE QUESTION OF THE COGNITIVE CATEGORY OF ETHNIC

Abstract: 
This article deals with ethnic images and stereotypes reflecting Russians' ideas of other folks and nations living in Perm region. The author analyses verbal representations of ethnic stereotypes and draws a conclusion that these representations compose an important part of language world picture.
