Abstract:
The opportunities of metaphorical transference of meaning use during the process of comic speech genres construction and realization in the sphere of mass communication are under consideration in the article. The brief review of literature on this subject is presented, specific features and the mechanism of comic metaphor creation are discussed, the most frequent in the media-discourse types of small size comic speech genres which can be underlied by the metaphorization techniques are found and described.
