Abstract:
The aim of the article is to define general and specific features of underlying structures of English and Lezghin composites. For this purpose the models of the composites are analyzed in different aspects. The English tends mostly to formation of composites-nouns, while the Lezghin more often forms composites-verbs. In most cases the English composite model N+N corresponds to the Lezghin model A+N.
