Abstract:
The article deals with the interpretation of the concept «myth» as a special means (=tool) of con-ceptualizing the objective reality, where a human being is considered both the subject and the object of cognition. It studies the structure of the mythological concept and discloses the essential characteristics of «mythologeme» and «motif», as well as the differentiation between them.
