LACUNAS IN REPRESENTATION OF EMOTIONS IN THE ENGLISH AND AVAR LANGUAGES

Abstract: 
The article focuses on the emotional concept FEAR in the English and Avar languages. The analysis of lacunas, identified in given linguocultures, contributes to categorization and concep-tualization of people's emotional experience in these two different languages.
