THE VERBALIZATION OF THE LINGUOCULTURAL IMAGE OF THE PROFESSIONAL IN THE RUSSIAN CINEMA DISCOURSE (on the basis of the serial “Praktika”)

Abstract:  In the center of attention of the research presented there are peculiarities of linguistic personality of the medical worker through the analysis of its verbal representations in Russian cinema discourse, the reference to which is explained by the fact that it possesses all the characteristics of the cinema discourse as a whole and, consequently, it can be the typical model.

Cinema discourse is known to be a multilevel, multiple-aspect structure inseparably linked with the spectator’s cognitive processes. The review of verbal features of the professional’s image through units that form professional linguistic personality in the spectator’s perception can be named as scientific novelty of the research. According to the level of fundamental nature and scientific novelty the study is urgent due to the incontestable importance of researching and describing the linguocultural concepts to which the image of the professional is referred.

As a result, we revealed the fact that the notion of a specialist’s professional competence is made up not only from his/her typical “carriers”, but also by special terminology.
