ERRORS BY USE BORROWINGS: COGNITIVE BASIS AND PRAGMATIC IMPLICATIONS (on a material of German language)

Abstract
The object of study in this article are errors by use borrowings. The author relies on the opinions of respected linguists regarding the borrowing as borrowing of concepts. The purpose of research is to explain the reasons of misuse of borrowings in speech. The main research methods are the method of analysis of dictionary definitions and the method of contextual analysis.
Basing her conclusions on understanding the process of borrowing as the import of concepts, the author sees causes for the improper use of foreign words in absence of the corresponding concept in the individual conceptual sphere. Similar (paronimic) words relate in the mind of the speaker with other concepts, this phenomenon often creates a comic effect and can be used in the practice of language learning.
A study of the borrowing from а cognitive point of view and of loan-words with the information behind them contributes to a deeper understanding of language, cognition and culture.
