Abstract:
The article deals with organizing principles of cognitive modeling in syntax. They are a principle of specification and a Gestalt principle. The principle of specification consists in individuating events and their entities. This principle explains any modification of verb and adjective meanings in the sen-tence. The Gestalt principle explains the process of construing a macroevent on the basis of the correla-tion between its components. As a result of this mental operation, these components correlate with each other within the whole unit.
